Working Saturday is the name of a series of creative workshops for children, held periodically at the House, most often on Saturday mornings.
The program was first launched in September 2024, with financial support from the Croatian Ministry of Demography and Migration. Through the guidance of skilled instructors, young creatives learned to draw, paint and make a wide range of imaginative handicrafts, including fans, masks, board games, Halubje robots, kaleidoscopes, toys, paper animals, playful decorations, whimsical bags, and many other original items. All workshops were aimed at children in grades 1 to 4 and were completely free of charge.Working Saturday received fantastic response. During the 2024/2025 school year alone, forty-eight workshops were held as part of this program.
Due to strong interest, the program will continue in 2026, with twenty workshops planned for the year. Financial support for the 2026 program is provided by Viškovo Garden Center, through the company NS AGRO TRADE d.o.o.
