The conference, taking place at the House once a year, is an important event for representatives of institutions engaged in living heritage, as well as for representatives of tradition bearers within local communities. It provides an opportunity for reflection, discussion, and collaboration on current trends, challenges, and opportunities in this field.
Intangible cultural heritage has a tremendous importance for the Republic of Croatia, as evidenced by the launch of numerous projects and institutions dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of various elements of living heritage. The tourism potential of this field also plays a role, and intangible cultural heritage is increasingly viewed from the perspective of investment in tourism.
