About us

Dominik is the director of the House, and its caring guardian, a commander, and a gentleman. He is the chief strategist whose steady hand governs the Association through all four points of the SWOT analysis, driving our team toward new summits on the business charts. He likes inclusivity, beet juice, and the local community. Dominik is the ultimate spreadsheet master and our gentle shepherd, who guides us across green meadows and peaceful springs. He is also the keeper of cookie supplies and corporate coffee reserves.

When he is not scaring the visitors with stories of witches and nightmares, Zoran is probably submitting project reports or writing various texts. In his moments of rest and relaxation, he is often seen peeling and slicing ginger. He is addicted to tea, chocolate, and academic papers on intangible heritage. He still hasn’t cleaned the mess on his desk.

Petra is the guardian of our exhibition and an advocate of healthy habits. A passionate hiker, she is in charge of guided hiking events and the lively visitor tours through the House. Studying art history has sharpened her aesthetic sense, which is especially seen in her careful selection of casual and sporty fashion combos. With her camera, Petra devotedly documents cultural and other events, visits by dignitaries, and gourmet specialties.

Of all the staff at the House, Ivana is probably the greatest fan of the carnival. This in-house Čakavian translator and true carnival girl comes from a long line of vine growers. She doesn’t just know local culture, she breathes it, and can tell visitors all about the tradition firsthand. The world is in her hands, and she’ll organize a party for it.

Katarina, known also as Kamelija, is our administrator. She is our favorite member, as she holds the keys to our days off and annual leave. This tamer of offers, orders, and invoices, a born document whisperer, also organizes the best birthday parties and has a sharp eye that misses nothing. She knows everything about social events, and local topics are her specialty.

Marko is in charge for technical matters, visuals, and sound in the House and at the events. An experienced organizer, he has all the algorithms in his little finger – and a frozen pizza and burek in the fridge. Soft-hearted as a smoothie, he loves making jokes and helping colleagues both in professional or personal fields. Prefers the afternoon shift.

Our housekeeper Maja has the nimblest hands in the House, whether keeping the space clean or creating magical handicrafts. Like any true sorcerer, she flies on various broomsticks and transforms our House into a unique and beautiful place.
